Google for Nigeria was an event held at The Landmark Centre in Lagos, Nigeria. Serving as a showcase for various Google technology, the event revealed the most recent improvements to existing applications and the exploration of new ideas in an interactive manner.
To create an experience that disrupted the current market perception of Google in Sub-Saharan Africa. The online presence in Nigeria is dominated predominantly by mobile. As such, markets have used other online portals to grow their business and brands online. Google needed a way to show how relevant and diverse their offerings are within the local ecosystem.
